After asuccessful 2 years in the South Australia fertiliser market, Koch Fertiliser has begun undertaking expansion of their business which will see it’s South Australian operations double in size to 85K tonne of product output.
The expansion sees the addition of a second warehouse constructed specifically to accommodate Dry Product Blending and will feature a custom built Blending Machine constructed to Koch’s specifications, to meet the market demands and build business opportunities for the fertiliser sector.
The new machine has the potential to blend 4 products simultaneously, apply trace elements and coat product with liquid anti-fungicides while maintaining an output of 120 tonne per hour.
Jebsens Adelaide has taken lease of 2 brand new Volvo L70 Front end Loaders to facilitate the increased product output. The new vehicles have the ability to lift 7000 kg simultaneously, accommodate a tilt over bucket for direct truck loading and have certified weighing capabilities for accurate loading.
